Warm hugs!

I lost my chithi, mom's sister early this week. And there goes a chance of getting such a warm, comforting, loving embrace. The 3 sisters, left quite a vaccum in the family. The centrifugal magnetic force of the family, all gone now. With the family tree getting bulkier as it grows, it naturally detaches slowly. Can't help it!

But it was such an amazing time during prayer meeting when all the cousins rooted around the world, connect to share the learnings, nuggets, and memories of the sisters and their impact on each of our lives.

As we bounce back to our daily schedule, I can't help but think of how hard it is for the immediate family. To return to the empty room. To see her old saree, or chair she sits. Well, its a choice I know, to sulk-leading to sorrow- isolation and depression. Or to run to Father God, under his wings to get the embrace and the awesome assurance of eternal life, and also the security it brings of the immediate future.

Imagine being a chick and running as fast as you can to momma hen to get under her wings for safety! Oh what a privilege! Am on the run, you wanna race me?

He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge. Psalms 91:4

Hide me in the shadow of Your wings Psalms 17:8

The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.Deuteronomy 33:27

Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.Hebrews 13:7
